Rajinikanth has completed shooting his portions in Annaatthe and the actor has returned to Chennai from his Hyderabad schedule. The rest of his team are expected to return to Chennai later this week, after they complete their respective portions. 

Rajini is expected to begin dubbing for his movie at Chennai shortly at a studio. Reportedly Annaatthe also has a Kolkatta schedule pending but earlier this month, there were several videos of a West Bengal set shooting being conducted at Ramoji Film City at Hyderabad itself.

Directed by Siva and produced by Sun Pictures, Annaatthe began shooting in December 2019 but went on to face many impediments due to COVID-19. The film is expected to be a Diwali release this year.
