Exactly two weeks after the demise of comedian Vivek, cinematographer K.V. Anand has passed away incidentally from cardiac arrest as well. One of the most prominent commonality between these two personalities was the Tamil movie Sivaji, which starred Rajinikanth in the lead.

Rajini who was last seen on Twitter condoling the loss of Vivek has now made an appearance again, to pay respects to K.V. Anand this time. The actor wrote, "The demise of the venerable KV Anand is shocking and painful. My deepest condolences to his family who are mourning his loss. May his soul attain peace."

K.V. Anand had worked behind the lens on Sivaji in 2007 and it was his first and only film with Rajinikanth. Days before the release of the movie, the cinematographer had said,

"Rajnikanth is the most professional artiste I have come across in my life. He is always 10-15 minutes ahead of time. If we say ready, he will be the first person to come and stand on the sets..Rajnikanth is one actor who would respect the suggestions of even my assistants."
