Actor Vijay has returned to Chennai after completing his Georgia schedule for his upcoming movie Thalapathy 65 (tentative title). The actor paid a visit to Vivek's family in the city this morning, since Vijay was not in the country during the comedian's unfortunate demise.

Vijay and Vivek have shared screen space in multiple movies - most memorable being Badri (2001), Youth (2002), Thamizhan (2002), Thirumalai (2003) and Kuruvi (2008). One of Vivek's last films Bigil was also with Vijay in 2019.

Thalapathy 65 on the other hand was planning on resuming shooting in Chennai in May, 2021. But film's heroine Pooja Hegde recently announced that she has tested positive for COVID19 which begs the question if the local schedule will be postponed.

Thalapathy 65 is directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures. The film has Vijay playing a con-agent.
