The title of director Vetrimaaran's upcoming film with Vijay Sethupathi, Soori has been revealed to be Viduthalai and the first look posters were unveiled today. Vijay Sethupathi is portrayed as a prisoner in one of the posters and the other shows Soori as a part of the police force. 

“Vijay Sethupathi as The Mentor and Soori as The Protagonist”, read the posters. Viduthalai revolves around human rights issues of tribal people and the film has been shot across the dense forests of Western Ghats. Bhavani Sre plays female lead in the movie, which has music by Ilaiyaraaja.

Viduthalai is produced by Eldred Kumar of R.S. Infotainment in association with Vetrimaaran's Grass Root Film Company.
