As reported by us previously, composer A.R. Rahman confirmed in a recent TV appearance that he is doing Parthiban's upcoming film Iravin Nizhal. Billed to be Asia's first single-shot movie, Iravin Nizhal has Arthur Wilson for cinematography and is currently in production.

After Rahman's confirmation on TV, Parthiban who is acting in, directing and producing the movie revealed that there will be 3 songs and a promo number by Rahman in this project. He has also stated that the promo number was an unplanned addition.
