After directing Oththa Seruppu Size 7, actor R. Parthiban is gearing up to wield the megaphone for a project titled Iravin Nizhal. Recent reports suggest that A.R. Rahman has been roped in for the music while an official confirmation awaits.

Parthiban had previously collaborated with A.R. Rahman for a 2001 project titled Aelelo. The movie never went on floors but Rahman had composed four songs for it.
