Anegan First Look and Official Press Release

KV Anand who has directed hit films "Kana Kandein", "Ayan", "KO", and "Maattrraan" is yet again wielding the megaphone for his new film, which best be described as a romance-comedy-action-suspense-thriller.
Manikkavasakar, the Tamil poet of 9th century in his Tiruvasagam, describes and praises God as Anegan. The term ANEGAN can also be interpreted as related to the film as "A man with many shadows". 

Cast

• The big budget extravaganza will have the most happening DHANUSH in the lead, paired with Amyra from Mumbai, debuting in Tamil Industry. This is the first time KV Anand is directing Dhanush. It will be a treat for Dhanush fans to see him in a character with different shades and colours.

• After a long gap, Navarasa Nayagan KARTHIK will face the arc lights in a major role in the film. Atul Kulkarni, Ashish Vidhyarthi, Jagan and other will essay important characters. 

Crew

• Musical genius Harris Jayaraj, who has scored music for KV Anand's earlier films, is yet again the music director for Anegan. This is another first that Harris is scoring music for Dhanush film. 

• Well-known cinematographer Omprakash, of Kalavani, Vaagai Sooda Vaa, Arrambam fame, will handle the camera. 

• The story and screenplay is written by KV Anand and Suba. Dialogue is by Suba.

Shooting Starts Today

Anegan will go on floors on 2nd September 2013 at Pondicherry. Anegan will be shot at exotic locations at Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Bolivia and other countries.
