Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming political satire is scheduled to hit theater screens this year and latest buzz is that the movie is releasing on April 14, 2021 i.e. on Tamil New Year day. An official confirmation on the same is awaited from producers Seven Screen Studio.

Written and directed by Delhi Prasad Dheenadayal, Tughlaq Durbar has Manjima Mohan playing Vijay Sethupathi's sister and Raashi Khanna playing his pair. Actor Parthiban plays villain in the movie which is joining the list of movies to release in theaters post Master in 2021.
