Previously, we had reported that Karthi's upcoming film Sulthan which is written and directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan is scheduled to release in April, 2021. Latest buzz is that the movie is looking at releasing on April 2, 2021 though the film has yet to complete censor formalities. 

It is also being said that Sulthan, produced by Dream Warrior Pictures will be releasing in theaters. Touted to be an action entertainer, Sulthan has Rashmika Mandanna playing female lead and Vivek-Merwin for music.
