Only recently there was a buzz that Karthi starrer Sulthan might go in for a direct OTT release though nothing is confirmed as yet. Now, it is being said that the movie is gearing up for a Spring i.e. April 2021 release. An official announcement on the release date has not been made as of now.

Produced by SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures, Sulthan also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead and is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan. The film has Vivek-Merwin for music.
