Just before New Year's, it was revealed that Vijay's upcoming movie Master came with a run-time of 2 hours 58 minutes and 35 seconds. Because this is inclusive of the opening and end credits, there is now a buzz that the end reel of Master will showcase making of the movie for about 8 minutes. 

However, whenever such a buzz has lingered around in the past for a big Vijay movie's release, they have often been proved to come with little to no truth. Also, the official quarters have not made any confirmations on the same, since it practically is a huge spoiler about the movie.

Master releases in Tamil and Telugu on January 13, 2021 in movie theaters. The film's Hindi version Vijay The Master releases a day later on January 14, 2021.
