It has now been officially announced that Vijay starrer Master will be hitting theater screens for Pongal on January 13, 2021. The movie will be releasing to a full theater advantage that Wednesday, as the weekend is preceded by the Pongal holiday that week.

Certified U/A, Master directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is also releasing in Telugu with the same title and in Hindi (on January 14, 2021) as Vijay The Master. The film is touted to be an action thriller and comes with a run-time of 2 hours 58 minutes and 35 seconds.
