It is being buzzed that an official announcement on Vijay's next film i.e. Thalapathy 65 can be anticipated in the coming days. And Nelson Dhilipkumar who was earlier buzzed to helm Vijay 65 is expected be officially announced as the director.

A leaked poster suggests that composer Anirudh, who has previously worked with Nelson in Kolamaavu Kokila will be the musician of Thalapathy 65 [Previously composer Thaman was said to be a part of the project].

Sun Pictures which is bankrolling the movie is expected to make an announcement either for Christmas or on December 31, 2020.
