According to latest reports, actor Vijay's upcoming thriller Master's OTT streaming rights have been sold to leading OTT platform Netflix.

While the team had already clarified multiple times that film will be released first in theatres, the sudden development has raised doubts among the fans and movie buffs that will the team stick to it original plan by releasing the film first in theatres or will they go ahead with OTT premiere?!

However, an Official confirmations on the both is awaited. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Master is said to be based on real-life incidents and previously actor Arjun Das had raved about a 'massy punch dialogue' from the trailer which he said had potential of leaving fans crazy.

//Update: The team has clarified that Master OTT rights have been sold to Amazon Prime Video but have stated that the film will release only in movie theaters first.
