Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja recently revealed in a Vikatan interview that Ajith had wanted him to forgo his signature guitar tunes while the duo was working on their 2019 movie Nerkonda Paarvai. Yuvan has implemented that suggestion for their current movie Valimai, which is an upcoming cop-action-thriller produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by H. Vinoth.

Yuvan revealed that he has finished three songs and a theme track for Valimai and it is the theme music which will come sans the guitar tunes.

While there are no official updates on Valimai as of now, reportedly Ajith is gearing up to join the Hyderabad schedule staring October 25, 2020 and Yami Gautam, Ileana D'Cruz and Huma Qureshi will be seen playing female leads.
