In response to the petition filed by Trident Arts which was seeking a stay on the OTT release of Vishal's film Chakra, the Madras high court today ordered that the movie cannot be released digitally till September 30, 2020.

The court had previously ordered Vishal to file his plea by September 24, 2020 and apparently the actor went on to claim that Chakra has not been sold to any OTT platforms as yet.

The judge who heard the case asked Vishal and producers at Trident Arts to sort out their differences amicably and also set a date till which Chakra cannot release on OTT platforms.
