The writing in Chakra is pedestrian and lacks heart, the film is devoid of an emotional core, and as for the villain, the character is an amusing caricature at best. (more)

Chakra is watchable for the good moments in the first half, but could have held the suspense longer for better engagement.
The runtime of the film is also one of the major issues, as it should have ended at least 15-20 minutes before where it actually ends. The film runs out of steam in the fag end and it's visible.
