Prashanth Neel directed KGF: Chapter 2 recently resumed shooting at Bangalore and actor Prakash Raj who was not seen in the hit prequel of the movie was photographed reading lines with the director. Going by what he was wearing the KGF audience assumed that Prakash Raj had replaced Anant Nag in the film for Nag wore something similar in the prequel.

However, Prasanth Neel has clarified that that is not the case. "He (Prakash Raj) is a new entry and this a new chapter in the movie", said the Kannada director who will be shooting for the next 10 days with Prakash Raj, Malavika Avinash, and Nagabharna.

KGF: Chapter 2 features an ensemble cast that includes Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Balakrishna, Saran Shakthi and Achyuth Kumar among others. The action-thriller is produced Hombale Films banner and will release in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam.
