Only recently images of Vijay taking the Green India Challenge went viral, after the Thalapathy actor was nominated by Telugu star Mahesh Babu. Vijay planted a tree sapling in his house in Chennai and the twitter camraderie between him and his Tollywood counterpart excited onlookers to great extent.

Now, fans of Vijay have taken up this challenge and in an initiative to make our surroundings more green, have planted around 100 saplings in Chennai.
