Tamil Nadu Theaters to go on a shutdown!

Speaking at the press meet of upcoming film Kavalthurai Ungal Nanban, producer T Siva of Amma Creations has announced that movie theatres in Tamil Nadu will go on a shut from March 27, 2020. While his statement may come as a shock to many especially since the theater audience are already on the verge of being scared off due to coronavirus, Siva maintains that the decision has been taken to protest against the local body tax imposed by Tamil Nadu government and the newly-proposed TDS of 10 %.

The producer also said that the move will ensure to change the current status of people in the movie business, where only 10% of them are earning profits.
