Director Lokesh Kanagaraj and Vijay are currently busy with Master, their upcoming film together and Vijay's fans for days now have been curious about the actor's next film [Thalapathy 65] and its director. While Lokesh has confirmed that he will not be directing Thalapathy 65 and instead will be focusing on Kaithi 2, reportedly the director has narrated a script to Vijay on the sets of Master. 

Vijay is also said to have liked the script though it is unclear if the duo will take it any further. And if they do, it seems likely that it will be only post Thalapathy 65 for which Sudha Kongara is currently being considered as a strong contender.
