Arun Vijay and Prasanna starrer Mafia: Chapter 1 which hit the screens on February 21 has opened to mixed reviews. Karthik Naren's film which carried good pre-release hype has managed to rake in good moolah at the ticket windows in its opening weekend. The film grossed Rs. 1.23 cr in Chennai and has topped the weekend box office.

Day 1 - Rs. 43 lakhs

Day 2 - Rs. 39 lakhs

Day 3 - Rs. 41 lakhs

'Oh My Kadavule' (OMK) which released alongside Naan Sirithaal last week is performing better and holding well in its second week. Ashok Selvan's film has grossed Rs. 1.82 cr in 10 days while Hip Hop Aadhi's film has minted Rs. 1.69 cr. In the second weekend, OMK has grossed Rs. 53 lakhs while Naan Sirithal has collected Rs. 13 lakhs.
