In a dramatic turn of events on Wednesday, the shooting of Vijay's upcoming film 'Master' was halted as IT Officials wanted to enquire Vijay over alleged Tax evasion of Bigil producers. IT sleuths approached Vijay who was shooting for the film at Neyveli Lignite Corporation and requested him to aid in the investigation following which he was brought back to his residence in Chennai accompanied by the officials as well.

Meanwhile the shooting of Master which was halted mid-way on Wednesday has resumed. Permission for shooting Master was granted for 10 days in NLC’s mining area, commencing on February 4. According to reports, the team has resumed shooting without Vijay and have decided to shoot the portions involving Vijay Sethupathi and other actors till Thalapathy joins the team back. 

Vijay is still being questioned by the IT sleuths since yesterday. An official press release from IT Department states that Vijay is being probed for his investment in immovable properties and remuneration received from AGS Entertainemnt for Bigil.
