The shooting of Ajith starrer Valimai is progressing at a brisk pace in Chennai. Valimai went on floors in mid-December at Hyderabad and the second schedule is currently underway. According to reports, the makers have planned to shoot two important race sequences in the film in Europe in April. The team is said to have zeroed in on Switzerland where scenes involving car race and motor race are to be shot.  

Directed by H Vinoth, the team will be moving to North India after wrapping the Chennai schedule. While the female lead is yet to be announced officially, speculations are rife that Kaala actress Huma Quershi has been finalized as the leading lady. Valimai produced by Boney Kapoor will see Ajith in a cop avatar and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
