The shooting of Ajith starrer Valimai went on floors last month at Ramojirao Film City in Hyderabad. After wrapping the first schedule in Hyderabad where intense action sequences were shot, the team has moved to Chennai and has begun shooting here. 

Valmai starring Ajith in the lead role is directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor which marks their second collaboration with the actor after Nerkonda Paarvai. The female lead is yet to be finalised. Ajith essays the role of a police officer and the film is expected to hit the screens for Diwali 2020. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring the music.
