Rajinikanth's starrer Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss is hitting the screens on January 9, 2020. The satellite rights of the film has been bagged by Sun TV while Amazon Prime has acquired the digital rights of the film. 

The trailer of the film was released recently. Nayanthara plays the leading lady in this action entertainer. Rajinikanth essays the role of a police commissioner in Mumbai. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, the film has music by Anirudh.
