P.S. Mithran directed Hero starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead had a new poster release today which was unveiled by the lead actor. The poster features him in his "super-hero" mode, further solidifying theories that he is indeed playing one in he movie. 

The team also recently had an interactive game launched as a part of its promotional activities though producers KJR Studios have maintained that the game "will not act as a precursor to the movie" but merely "introduce Hero" to the audience. Named Play Hero, the game is an Augmented Reality (AR) treasure-hunt app, powered by AugmoAR and conceptualized by BeatRoute.

It is available for download in Tamil Nadu and it requires players to go out and collect the Hero badges in real-time environment. Once a badge is collected, players will have to wait for two hours to collect another from the same location.

Hero is slated for a release on December 20, 2019 and will have its second song release tomorrow (Nov 29, 2019) at 5 PM.
