The shooting of Thalapathy 64 is progressing at a brisk pace. The team is currently shooting the second schedule of the film in Delhi where a lot of action sequences is said to have been shoot. The Delhi schedule is expected to be wrapped soon and the team will be next shooting in Shimoga district in Karnataka. The shooting will begin on December 1 and will last till January 18. According to sources, portions involving Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi is expected to be shot in this schedule.

Thalapathy 64 is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Malavika Mohanan plays the leading lady opposite Vijay. The film also features Antony Varghese, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu Varghese, Soundarya Nandakumar and Ramya Subramanian in pivotal roles. The film produced by Xavier Britto of XB Film Creators has music by Anirudh Ravichander. The first look of the film is expected to be unveiled on New Year 2020.
