The shooting of Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film 'Hero' has been wrapped. Director PS Mithran of 'IrumbuThirai' fame who is helming the project took to his Twitter page to announce the film's wrap. The post-production work of the film is happening in full swing.

Hero is touted to be a superhero film set against the irregularities in the educational system. The star cast includes Abhay Deol, Arjun, Ivana, Vivek, Robo Shankar and Kalyani Priyadarshan who is making her Tamil debut with the film. Produced by Kotapadi J. Rajesh under the banner of KJR Studios, the film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Hero is set to hit the screens on December 20, 2019.

After launching the first single 'Malto Kithapuleh' the makers have announced the release of the second single titled 'Hero' from the film on November 29 at 5 pm.
