Rajinikanth's Darbar directed by A.R. Murugadoss is one of the most awaited films in Kollywood which is hitting the screens for Pongal 2020. The audio of the film is set to be launched on December 7 and the film is set to release on January 9, 2020. 

The first single titled 'Summa Kizhi' which happens to be Rajinikanth's intro song sung by SPB is set to be released on November 27. However an official annoucement is awaited from the makers. Anirudh has scored the music for Darbar. The film's motion poster unveiled recently featuring the film's theme music received good response from fans and audience. 

Rajinikanth essays the role of a cop in this action thriller film. Nayanthara plays the female lead. The post-production work of the film is happening in full swing. Superstar recently completed dubbing for his portions. Darbar is produced by Lyca Productions.
