Dhanush starrer Asuran directed by Vetrimaran which hit the screens worldwide on October 4 has successfully completed 50 days of theatrical run at the box office. The rural revenge drama received raving reviews from all quarters and turned out to be a surprise hit at the ticket window. 

The film is still running in a few theatres in TamilNadu despite its digital streaming on Amazon Prime from November 8. Asuran has grossed Rs. 47 cr in TN and marks Dhanush's career highest grosser in the state beating Vada Chennai. The film performed well in Kerala and Karnataka too. In the overseas market, the film had grossed around Rs. 13 cr. Asuran has grossed around Rs. 67 cr worldwide. 

Dhanush's long delayed film 'Enai Noki Payum Thotta' (ENPT) directed by Gautham Menon is slated for release on November 29. Hope he delivers another box office hit with this fiilm too.
