Vijay's 'Thalapathy 64' and Chiyaan Vikram's 'Vikram 58' are among the most awaited films in Kollywood. The latest buzz is that the title and first look of these films are set to be unveiled on Christmas and New Year as a special treat to the fans. However an official confirmation is awaited from the respective makers.

The title and first look of Thalapathy 64 is set to be unveiled on the occasion of New Year. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Vijay and Malavika Mohanan play the lead roles. The second schedule of the film is currently being shot in Delhi. The film produced by Xavier Britto under the banner of XB Film Creators has music by Anirudh Ravichander and will release in Summer 2020.

The title and first look of Vikram 58 is expected to be revealed on the occasion of Christmas this year.  Chiyaan 58 is directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu of 'Imaikka Nodigal' fame. The film, which is believed to feature Vikram in multiple roles, has KGF-actor Srinidhi Shetty playing the female lead. Cricketer Irfan Pathan is making his acting debut with this film. Bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio, the film has music by AR Rahman. Touted to be a suspense action thriller Vikram 58 is being made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
