The much-awaited first look of Suriya's upcoming film Soorarai Pottru has been unveiled by the actor on his Twitter page. Suriya plays the character Nedumaaran in the film. The first look shows Suriya jumping in the air and all set to fly.

Soorarai Pottru, a film based on the life of Air Deccan founder G.R. Gopinath is directed by Sudha Kongara of 'Iruthi Suttru' fame. Produced by 2D Entertainment, Soorarai Pottru has Aparna Balamurali playing female lead and G.V. Prakash for music. The film also stars Mohan Babu, Jackie Shroff, Karunas and Paresh Rawal among others.

Sakthi Film Factory holds the distribution rights of the film in Tamil Nadu. The film is set to hit the screens for Summer 2020. The telugu version of the film has been titled "Aakaasam Nee Haddhu Ra".
