Karthi 20 (tentative title), which is actor Karthi's film with director Jeethu Joseph was announced as an October release, but despite the shoot-wrap of the movie, the release plans have been pushed to later this year. The upcoming thriller will now release on December 20, 2019. 

Karthi plays Jyotika's brother in the movie which also stars actor Sathyaraj as the duo's father. Nikhila Vimal plays Karthi's love interest and Seetha, Anson Paul and Sowkar Janaki play important roles. Karthi 20 is produced by Jyothika's brother Suraj, Viacom 18 and has Govind Vasantha for music, RD Rajasekhar for camera.
