Sibiraj's upcoming film Kabadadaari which is the Tamil adaptation of the Kannada film Kavaludaari has a new addition to its cast and it is actress Pooja Kumar, who is known for playing Kamal Haasan's love interest in Viswaroopam series. She will be playing an actress in the movie and producer Dhananjayan has been quoted on her role as saying,

“Pooja Kumar is a great addition to Kabadadaari. In fact, her character keeps moving the story from one level to the next and it involves many twists and surprises,”

Kabadadaari plans to wrap by December, 2019 and also stars Nasser and Jayaprakash in pivotal roles. John Mahendran and Dhananjayan have enhanced the screenplay and dialogues of the original story by Hemanth Rao to suit to the taste of the Tamil audience.
