As movie-buffs in TN gear up for a double bonanza this Diwali with Kaithi (starring Karthi) and Bigil (starring Vijay) both hitting theater screens on October 25, 2019, Kaithi's lead hero Karthi has made a statement about how the clash can co-exist without eating into each other's business.

“Bigil is a bigger film any day, and that is why they will have more theaters. But I think we will have sufficient numbers. If a Petta and Viswasam can release together, Bigil and Kaithi too can easily release..”, the actor was quoted by The Hindu as saying.

Kaithi is releasing in around 250 screens in Tamil Nadu whereas Bigil is releasing in over 600 screens. Interestingly Kaithi's director Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently directing Vijay in his next movie Thalapathy 64.
