Karthi's upcoming film Kaithi is only three days shy from hitting theater screens (October 25, 2019) and advance bookings for the movie is now open throughout the country. A prison-break action film, Kaithi will see the Karthi-director Lokesh Kanagaraj combination for the first time and recently, the lead actor had this to say about the film: 

"It is a journey film and one which unfolds over the space of four hours in a single night. It is so unpredictable what can happen at night. It is a what-if situation type of film.. Despite the tension, there are lighter moments that you can really enjoy,”

Kaithi has been certified an U/A and comes with a run time of 2 hours, 27 minutes and 12 seconds. The movie is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures and will be meeting Vijay's Bigil at the box-office.
