Asuran, a rural revenge drama, starring Dhanush in the lead role directed by Vetrimaaran has been drenched with showers of praises from all quarters ever since its release. The film which hit the screens on October 4 is in its third week in theatres, but the applause and laurels still continue. Following Kamal Haasan, DMK Chief MK Stalin, Mahesh Babu, Karan Johar is the latest to have watched the film and is all praises for both Dhanush and Vetrimaran.

The critically acclaimed film bankrolled by Thanu has turned out to be a Box office success well and is on its way to become Dhanush's highest grossing film in TamilNadu.
