Ahmed directed upcoming spy thriller Jana Gana Mana which has Jayam Ravi and Taapsee Pannu playing leads is said to have a new addition. Bollywood actor Nana Patekar who was last seen playing villain to Rajinikanth in Kaala has reportedly been brought on-board, in his first film since he MeToo scandal. 

Also starring Arjun, Rahman, Dayana Erappa, MS Baaskar, Iranian actress Elnaaz Norouzi and KGF fame Ram among others, Jana Gana Mana is touted to be made at a whopping budget of Rs. 60 Cr. and is aiming for a August 15, 2020 release. The film has several international collaborations such as a VFX specialist from Kazakhstan, a prosthetic team from Turkey and Hollywood stunt director Glenn Boswell of The Matrix, The Hobbit, and X-Men Origins fame. 

National award winning stunt director Anbariv is also on the technical team, which includes Yuvan Shankar Raja for music and Gnana Sekar for cinematography. Jana Gana Mana is expected to release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
