Following Vijay Sethupathi and Anthony Varghese, the makers of Vijay's next film Thalapathy 64 have revealed actor Shanthnu Bhagyaraj to be the next cast member of their film. "Dreams do come true..Delighted to share screen space with my fav Vijay anna", shared the actor on his social page after the announcement was made. 

Thalapathy 64 plans to begin shooting from next month and release in Summer, 2020. A Lokesh Kangaraj directorial, the film produced by XB Film Creators is touted to be a mass commercial entertainer and has Anirudh for music, Sathyan Sooriyan for cinematography and Philomin Raj for the edits.
