Vetrimaaran directed Asuran starring Dhanush and Manju Warrier among others is gearing up for a release on October 4, 2019 and at this time, Tamil film producer Dhananjayan has revealed that he has bought the distribution rights of the movie in Trichy and Tanjore areas. 

"Very happy to sign up @VetriMaaran sir's #Asuran with @dhanushkraja ji from @theVcreations for Trichy-Tanjore area through @CreativeEnt4...excited & going for a grand release in the area", announced the producer on twitter.

Certfied U/A, Asuran is produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu's V Creations and is based on some chapters of the Tamil novel Vekkai. The film will see Dhanush in dual roles and has G.V. Prakash for music.
