With big announcements involving cast and crew of Vijay’s Thalapathy 64 made one after another, here is one more joining the league. Malayalam industry’s most celebrated actor Antony Varghese has been signed to play an important role in this film. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj (Maanagaram, Kaidhi fame), the film is already boasting of big names like Vijay Sethupathi, music director Anirudh, etc. Although, it is said that Bollywood actress Kiara Advani has been signed to play the female lead role, there hasn’t been any official word on it for now. It looks like the confirmation on this can be expected by this weekend.  

It is worth mentioning that Antony Varghese has a good fan base in Tamil Nadu for his stellar performance in the movie ‘Angamaly Diaries’ and ‘Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil’. In addition, the expectations for his upcoming Malayalam movie ‘Jallikattu’, which had the trailer recently released is pretty good indeed.
