AK 60 (tentative title), Ajith's next with director H. Vinoth was supposed to begin shooting earlier this month but for reasons best known to the makers, the film never went on floors. While there were reports of the project beginning in October, 2019, latest buzz is that the movie will begin only by December, 2019. 

Word also has it that the title for the movie which is so far going by AK 60 / Thala 60 has been finalized though we will have to wait for an official announcement to know the same. Touted to be an action entertainer, AK 60 is Ajith's second time collaboration with producer Boney Kapoor and the actor will be seen in the role of a cop in the film. 

The movie was earlier announced to be releasing by Summer, 2020, but given the pre-production delay, it is to be seen if the makers will stick to their original release plan.
