Dhanush's upcoming film with director Karthik Subbaraj which is tentatively referred to as D 40 began filming in London last week. At this time, word in the grapevine was that the movie has been titled after the MGR film, Ulagam Suttrum Valiban. However, the producers have reportedly refuted the same and said that they have just begun shooting for the project and haven't yet decided on the film's title. 

Touted to be a story which takes places outside India, D 40 is said to be an action thriller and also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi and Games of Thrones , Braveheart fame James Cosmo in it. Y Not Studios is producing this film and the rumour of Ulgam Suttrum Valiban began because they are said to have officially registered this title.
