Vaibhav starrer Sixer is an upcoming comedy entertainer all set to hit theater screens from tomorrow i.e. August 30, 2019 and at this time, veteran Tamil comedian Goundamani has sent a legal notice to the team over the usage of his photograph and certain dialogues being used against his character being objectionable. The scenes in question were revealed in a sneak peek video and in it Vaibhav, suffering from night blind-ness is seen cursing at his grandfather's photograph for passing down the disease. 

The makers have used Goundamani's picture for the grandfather, after the famous night-blind character the comedian played in a movie called Chinnathambi. In a legal notice sent to the team, Goundamani alleges that he his photograph has been used without his permission and the dialogue, "Grandfather.. don't know what kind of atrocities you did in you life that I am now suffering with blindness post 6 PM everyday" character-assassinates a famous role he played. 

Sixer is directed by Chachi and is a production venture of Wallmate Entertainment and Trident Arts. The three-page legal notice has been addressed to the latter two and can be viewed here, here and here.
