A fairly engaging, middling comedy that is shouldered by an entertaining performance and a unique syndrome!

Most scenes that involve actor Vaibhav are engaging and he has emoted and entertained well. Be it his comical, blindfolded fight sequence or his combination with Satish and his entire track with actor Chaams in the latter half, audiences are sure to enjoy these parts. Even the scene that sees him get entangled with the MLA and his men are natural and the protest portion has worked out for the film. Director Chachi has used humour as his trump card and this has paid off in quite a few sequences. (more)

An enjoyable comedy

Sixer manages to entertain to an extent though there are some logic loopholes and silly scenes. It's a harmless one time watch for the fun element and few comic moments.(more)

Sixer falls just short of being watchable, despite some of the comedy working out quite well.

A supposedly funny sequence involving Chaams is ridiculous and tests our patience. The antagonist falls flat in the climax because of the clichd fight with the hero. The movie, on the whole, just falls short of being watchable, despite some of the comedy working out quite well, thanks to the logic loopholes and some silly scenes.(more)

Eyes wide shut

Sixer also has a brief homophobic stretch that makes you squirm. Of course, the presence of a heroine (Pallak Lalwani) who cannot get a single word right in Tamil is more irking than Chachi's tunnelled vision about nyctalopia among other things.(more)

Vaibhav-starrer tries hard to be funny but marginally falls short

Sixer is a typical time-pass movie that may provide some laughs for those nostalgic about 1980s Tamil cinema comedy tracks.(more)
