Former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee who has served office thrice as the PM representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will soon be depicted on-screen, for reports of his biopic being-in-the-works has started doing the rounds.

The rights to the late statesman-poet's life story, which has been chronicled in the book 'The Untold Vajpayee: Politician and Paradox' has been acquired byShiva Sharma and Zeeshan Ahmad, owners of Amaash Films and they soon plan to turn it into a movie.

"‘The Untold Vajpayee’ is one of our most ambitious projects and it gives us a feeling of immense honour and joy to be able to put up this unsung hero onto the big screen...Once the scripting is completed, we shall finalize the director and the actors for the film. The tentative title of the movie is ‘The Untold Vajpayee’.”, the makers have been quoted on their upcoming project.
