Lots of speculations have been revolving around Ajith Kumar’s Nerkonda Paarvai release date. The initial announcement from producer Boney Kapoor affirmed that it would be hitting screens on August 10, 2019. Off the late, there were some buzzes citing that it could have a preponed release on August 1, which wasn't actually an official word.  Now, our industry sources mention that Nerkonda Paarvai might have its opening day on either August 8 or August 9.  

Although, the film has been mentioned as a remake of critically acclaimed Bollywood movie ‘Pink’, the team states that lots of changes have been made from the original. Helmed by H Vinoth of ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’ fame, the film is produced by Boney Kapoor for Bayview Projects LLP. Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami Venkatachalam,  Andrea Tariang, Arjun Chidambaram, Adhik Ravichandran, Rangaraj Pandey and few more prominent actors are a part of the star-cast.
