Director-producer C.V. Kumar announced officially that actors Vishnu Vishal and Karuna will be returning for the sequel to his sci-fi comedy, Indru Netru Naalai. Titled Indru Netru Naalai 2, a title poster for the movie was released last year with no official update on the cast and crew until now. 

Indru Netru Naalai 2 will be directed by R. Ravikumar with Ghibran for music and Dinesh Krishnan for cinematography.
