Shankar to work on this project instead of Indian 2?

 

The fate of Indian 2 has been a topic of constant debate with the latest hope being Kamal Haasan resumes shooting with director Shankar post Bigg Boss 3, though there have been no such official confirmations on the same. In the meantime, buzz in the industry is that director Shankar has approached Vijay with a script, which may or may not be for him.
 
While some reports indicate a possible collaboration between Vijay and Shankar, sources close to the actor have denied the same citing the pending Thalapathy 64 project which is already ready to go on floors once Bigil wraps up.

On the other hand, it is also being suggested that the script in question is for introducing Vijay's son Jason Sanjay in a Boys like film, where the director will be introducing other new faces as well. Vikram's son Dhruv is said to be the other star-kid in contention to be roped into this project.
